Welcome to Wolfdog Rescue Resources, Incorporated, an organization formed by wolfdog owners, former wolfdog owners, wolfdog rescuers, and just good folks that care about the welfare and future of wolfdogs.

Please note, WRR was a 501(c)3 Organization for 9 years until it was revoked due to an end of the year clerical error.  WRR is in the process of getting it reinstated.

Prior to contacting our organization, please take a moment to read the information found by following the two links listed below. This information comes from a good friend's wolfdog rescue website. www.sjblues.com
www.sjblues.com/fr_realtycheck.cfm

In summary, labeling your animal a wolfdog, when in fact, it is not, cuts its adoption/survival chance by 70%. Where many owners believe their animals are wolfdogs (purchased through a breeder, etc.) more often then not there is no wolf in them at all.

Wolfdogs are illegal in many states, and in those states where they are legal, individual counties and municipalities can trump the state law and outlaw them. Many times, when a wolfdog is dropped off at a county shelter, it is euthanized before the "give-up" owners ever leave the parking lot.

So please read these links. It's reality, its straight forward, and it's not meant to offend anyone, but it's done in the best interest of the dog and the wolfdog.

A note on "papers". "Papers", for wolfdogs mean absolutely nothing. Anyone can sit down and compose "papers" on a computer using old pictures, made up headers, etc. It's done all the time, when in fact, it carries no meaning at all to the wolfdog rescue community.

On behalf of the animals and WRR, we thank you for your support!
